How sustainable is ulin wood and what makes it an environmentally responsible choice?
Ulin is sustainable when legally sourced. As a slow-growing hardwood, it has an exceptionally long lifespan, lasting 3-4 times longer than softwoods. This means fewer replacements are needed, reducing resource consumption.
We follow a "use less, use better" philosophy and ensure all Ulin wood is sourced responsibly. Additionally, all offcuts are repurposed for screens, battens, or furniture, minimizing waste and promoting a circular approach.
